Amazon India is seeking a Business Analyst for the INSC CF MM team in Karnataka. The role requires strong analytical skills, SQL and BI tool proficiency, and experience with big data to drive consumer experience improvements and identify automation opportunities within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain robust processes to drive improvement projects aimed at maximizing consumer experience across the MM network.
  • Identify, plan, and execute automation projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Create and work with data using SQL, Amazon S3, and QuickSight to generate actionable insights for business and operations teams.
  • Support business growth in constrained environments through frugal and innovative solutions, ensuring scalability without proportional cost increase.
  • Make existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Roll out best practices from other geographies and standardize tools and processes to minimize end-to-end supply chain losses.
  • Partner with business, operations, and technical stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into structured, data-backed recommendations.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving and communication skills to influence decisions across business, operations, and technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, OR a CFA and experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau).
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data sets.
  • 2+ years of data analytics or automation experience.
