Boomi Technical Lead

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities1.  Development      • Design and develop end-to-end integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere.      • Build and expose REST/SOAP APIs      • Develop event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka platform.      • Create and manage Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and schemas.      • Implement real-time data streaming pipelines and message transformations.      • Develop reusable, scalable, and secure integration components.2.  API & Integration Management      • Design, develop, and manage API integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRMS).      • Implement API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys).      • Work with API gateways and Confluent Schema Registry.      • Handle data transformation (JSON, XML) and mapping logic.3.  Support & Maintenance      • Provide L2/L3 production support for integration pipelines (Boomi + Kafka).      • Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka topics, lag, throughput, and failures.      • Resolve integration issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement fixes.      • Ensure reliability and performance of integrations across systems.4.  Testing & Quality Assurance      • Design and execute unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.      • Validate event streaming workflows and API responses.      • Collaborate with QA and business teams for end-to-end testing.      • Support UAT cycles and ensure defect resolution.5.  Monitoring & Performance Optimization      • Monitor integrations using Boomi dashboards, Kafka monitoring tools, and logs.      • Optimize Kafka performance (partitioning, replication, consumer groups).      • Implement logging, error handling, retry mechanisms, and alerting strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage boomi integration projects from requirement analysis to deployment.
2. Design and architect boomi integration solutions based on business needs.
3. Develop and implement boomi processes for data transformations, workflow orchestrations, and api integrations.
4. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of boomi processes.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful integration of boomi solutions.
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members working on boomi projects.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in boomi atomsphere platform and boomi integration processes.
2. Strong understanding of integration concepts and web services (rest, soap).
3. Experience in designing and implementing boomi connectors, maps, and profiles.
4. Knowledge of cloud platforms like aws, azure, or google cloud for boomi integrations.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders effectively.

Other Requirements

1.Certification in Boomi Integration Developer is preferred.
