Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for workplace information and communications technology systems, including Microsoft 365 applications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, workstations, and basic network/system issues.
- Maintain data integrity and file system security, including managing permissions and access within Microsoft 365.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
- Recommend and specify appropriate hardware and software solutions.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects.
- Conduct training programs for computer users on applications.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and support occasional overnight travel (up to 10% annually).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant professional or co-op experience, OR an Associate’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience.
- General knowledge and experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows-based computers in a business environment using Active Directory.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic network knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, and VPN concepts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and follow-up.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, if required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
