In short

We are seeking an Assembly & Test Technician for our new facility in Buffalo, NY. You will be responsible for assembling and testing modules, cables, and dry pumps according to production plans and quality standards. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent experience, knowledge of mechanical component assembly, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test modules, cables and dry pumps in line with the daily production plan, focusing on quality and output targets.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Follow assembly and test instructions and procedures to meet output quality requirements.
  • Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with department colleagues and supporting departments.
  • Communicate and seek guidance where there are errors or difficulty in build.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent / associated experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of the principles of mechanical component constructions and assembly and test.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
  • Experience with hand tools and small power tools, including pneumatic.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

  • Dependent on assigned area (knowledge and experience of the principles of mechanical component constructions and assembly and test).
