As an Assembler II on the 2nd Shift, you will assemble gasket plate heat exchangers using hand and power tools, following blueprints and instructions. This full-time, on-site role requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, quality checks, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components to build finished heat exchangers.
- Use hand and power tools accurately.
- Perform quality checks and document processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints.
- Report deviations and suggest improvements.
- Participate in 5S routines and continuous improvement activities.
- Cross-train to support various manufacturing demands.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Accurate and consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Desired Qualifications
- Crane & Forklift certifications are a plus.
- Some experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to be trained and pass Industrial Vehicle Tests (Crane, Forklift, Joey).
