Responsibilities
- Support customer and internal RTL power analysis activities.
- Execute established PPRTL flows including logical power flows, CGE reporting, and preparation of collateral from templates.
- Assist customers with routine flow setup, installation, and licensing questions.
- Perform basic RTL power lint and summarize findings.
- Contribute to testcase notes, FAQ entries, and internal knowledge-base updates.
- Diagnose routine issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members.
- Reproduce defects and collaborate with sales, support, and senior AEs on assigned accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years in semiconductor EDA, IC design, or applications/support; OR a Master's degree with no prior professional experience.
- Basic understanding of RTL power: switching, internal, and leakage power; clock gating fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Linux and Tcl scripting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to VCS/Verdi.
- Low-power VLSI coursework.
- Basic SDC/UPF familiarity.
