As a AI Expert China, your mission is to define and execute the AI strategy for our China organization, delivering measurable business outcomes through applied AI, intelligent automation, and data-driven products tailored to China’s operating context. You will

China AI Strategy & Use-Case Portfolio

  • Define the China AI roadmap aligned to business priorities and the enterprise AI strategy, with clear value cases, sequencing, and adoption targets.
  • Identify and deliver high-impact AI and automation use cases that reflect China market dynamics (speed-to-market, channel/commercial models, and customer expectations).

 

China Delivery Capability & Partner Ecosystem

  • Build and lead a China-based AI team (product, data science/engineering, automation, and enablement), developing local talent and ways of working that fit China delivery rhythms.
  • Manage China vendor/partner landscape (local cloud, AI tooling, system integrators), balancing speed and innovation with risk, cost, and architectural fit.

 

Business Transformation, Data & Ecosystem Integration

  • Partner with China business process owners to redesign workflows and embed AI into day-to-day operations (e.g., finance, supply chain, sales, customer service).
  • Integrate AI solutions with China’s core systems and digital channels where relevant (e.g., local messaging/commerce ecosystems), while maintaining clean interfaces to global platforms.

  • 5+ years in IT/data/AI roles; track record delivering AI products or automation at scale in China
  • Strong understanding of China’s AI and digital ecosystem, including localization needs, vendor landscape, and ways of working
  • Hands-on knowledge of the AI/ML lifecycle (data, modeling, evaluation, deployment/monitoring) and intelligent automation; comfortable working with both global and China-local platforms
  • Experience designing solutions within China security, privacy, and data residency expectations; able to translate requirements into pragmatic controls
  • Strong stakeholder management across China business and global teams; effective vendor management and commercial acumen
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; able to lead change, drive adoption, and communicate complex AI topics clearly to non-technical audiences
