In short

As an AI Strategy Lead at Google Finance, you will be a thought leader driving the AI transformation of the organization. You will advise leadership, align AI priorities into a cohesive roadmap, and bridge the gap between core AI teams and the Finance organization to develop enterprise-ready AI products.

Responsibilities

  • Build developer frameworks to accelerate and improve the Business Intelligence (BI) development lifecycle and solutions.
  • Design and build highly reusable, complex skills, agents, and procedures at the AI Platform level.
  • Act as a strategic zeroth Finance customer for Deepmind technology, partnering with core engineering teams on early-stage design, usability, and architecture.
  • Define Finance technical requirements, aligning cross-organizational roadmaps, resolving ambiguity, and shipping outcomes.
  • Develop scalable, maintainable internal and external Software as a Service (SaaS) products decoupled from internal dependencies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.
  • Experience programming in one of the general programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, C++.
  • Experience building agentic workflows (e.g., orchestrating prompt engineering, state/context management, and utilizing Agent Development Kits/frameworks).
  • Experience in Python and SQL.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience defining technical standards and managing cross functional roadmaps across teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence global leadership, and act as a bridge between core AI researchers, engineers, and non-technical business leaders.
  • Extensive experience architecting scalable enterprise AI solutions and Generative AI pipelines including Google's AI technology stack.
  • Proven track record of building multi-tenant SaaS products, modern cloud data platforms, and BI frameworks that reduce technical debt and accelerate developer velocity.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance processes and data products, with hands-on experience integrating complex legacy financial systems.
