Job Summary

Data Analytics\\\\r\\\\nExperience: 3–8 years\\\\r\\\\nOverview:\\\\r\\\\nTo develop semantic models, dashboards, and governed analytics layers on BigQuery.\\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities:\\\\r\\\\nBuild LookML views, explores, PDTs.\\\\r\\\\nDesign semantic models.\\\\r\\\\nOptimize dashboards and enable self-service.\\\\r\\\\nImplement RBAC and metadata practices.\\\\r\\\\nRequired Skills:\\\\r\\\\n3+ years in LookML and Looker.\\\\r\\\\nStrong SQL and modeling skills.\\\\r\\\\nFamiliar with BigQuery backend.\\\\r\\\\nPreferred Qualifications:\\\\r\\\\nLooker certifications.\\\\r\\\\nExperience with semantic governance

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain LookML models, including views, explores, and Persistent Derived Tables (PDTs). Design and implement semantic data models for analytics and reporting. Build and optimize interactive dashboards for performance and usability. Enable self-service analytics for business users. Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and maintain proper data governance practices. Manage metadata and data definitions for consistency and accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics solutions. Ensure scalability and performance of analytics solutions on BigQuery.

Skill Requirements

 Minimum 3+ years of experience in Looker and LookML development. Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques. Experience working with Google BigQuery or similar data warehouses. Knowledge of dashboard optimization and performance tuning. Understanding of data governance, RBAC, and metadata management. Analytical thinking with the ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

Other Requirements

Preferred: Looker certifications. Experience in semantic layer governance and best practices. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
